Linus spent a trouble-free practice session at St. Pete gradually building his pace around the challenging Florida street track…
Steering clear of mistakes and wrapping up as many laps as possible on his first visit to the venue, Linus eventually wound up fifth quickest, some seven tenths down on early pace-setter Kyle Kirkwood (a previous race winner at St. Pete).
The session featured one red-flag stoppage after Danial Frost clattered the barriers at the tight Turn 10 left-hander.
LINUS: “It’s such a cool track! I think it was a good, solid session, in which I achieved what I wanted to. No mistakes, completing the laps, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a bit of an inconsistency on the brake pedal, so we’ll look into that. There is a bit more in it when we put things on the line in qualifying later on.”
Next up today is Qualifying 1, scheduled for 1:25 pm / 19.25.
