From seventh on the grid, Linus initially dropped down the order on a busy opening lap, but regrouped to take home P5 after overtaking Devlin DeFrancesco on the penultimate tour.
It was a race of contrasting fortunes for the championship top three, as earlier points leader Kyle Kirkwood went off the track and pitted with damage while Linus’ Global Racing Group with HMD Motorsports team-mate David Malukas clinched victory.
With exactly half the season now completed, that means Linus is currently tied in second place with Kirkwood, both eight points adrift of new leader Malukas.
More to follow in a post-weekend press release.
