Road America – Free Practice: Linus works on race pace

Linus focussed on long-run performance in Friday practice at Road America, leaving him down in seventh on the timesheets while Andretti Autosport’s Robert Megennis set the pace.

Linus suffered a small setback with 15 minutes to go of the 45-minute session when he ran out of fuel and stopped on track, but the car was swiftly retrieved and towed back to the pits.

LINUS:

“We ran out of fuel there at the end and caused a red flag, but it’s no big deal. The car felt very good until that point on the long run and I’m confident in both our race pace and one-lap speed heading into qualifying. We are in the mix.”

Next up is Qualifying 1 at 2.30-3.00 pm / 21.30-22.00.
