Linus will start both of this weekend’s Indy Lights races from the front row of the grid, again taking second place in Qualifying 2 to back up his effort from yesterday…
In much warmer conditions, Linus slotted into second place behind team-mate David Malukas for the second day in succession, making it a GRG/HMD front row lock-out for both races.
A mere half second covered the top ten in qualifying, setting up a pair of thrilling encounters later this weekend.
LINUS: “It was a solid session, pretty happy with P2. I felt like I did a better lap today, but the car wasn’t quite in the same window. We’ll investigate why that was, but it’s warmer today and also INDYCAR have put down some Firestone rubber. Anyway, we can definitely achieve a lot from the front row in both races, so I’ll be going for it.”
Race 1 takes place at 1.55 pm / 22.55.
