Mid-Ohio – Qualifying 1: Engine failure brings down curtain

Linus suffered an engine failure in the early parts of qualifying for Saturday’s opening Indy Lights race at Mid-Ohio, leaving him down in tenth.

LINUS: “It’s a shame, of course. I felt a loss of power, lost drive, and suddenly the engine died completely. The team is looking into it as we speak, but we think it’s a complete engine change. Hopefully the guys can get it done in time for the race, but it will be tight.”

Race 1 is scheduled to start at 1.00 pm / 19.00, with the GRG/HMD mechanics now facing a race against time to bring the car back onto the grid.
