A dedicated event portal will be set up to carry the official Road to Indy live stream, with practice sessions, qualifying and the races all shown in real time on the site.
“It’s great to be able to carry the official series stream on my website this season,” says Linus. “It adds simplicity and access for people wanting to follow me, and the championship, which can only be positive for everyone. I’m really looking forward to getting the season underway and I think we’ll put on a great show!”
Streaming will also be available through the championship’s official website, www.indylights.com, in regions outside the U.S. in addition to RoadToIndy.TV and the Road to Indy TV App. In the U.S., coverage can be found on Peacock Premium and on REV TV in Canada.
In 2016, the Road to Indy became the first American racing series with a dedicated broadcast channel on demand – which is currently available live and on demand at Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Roku – and also the first open-wheel series to have an official App on Xbox One.
The 2021 Indy Lights campaign kicks off at Barber Motorsports Park in just over three weeks’ time, on April 16-18. Linus will be making his debut in the INDYCAR support paddock, hoping to build on last year’s Formula Regional Americas title.
