Starting on the front row of the grid in second place, Linus maintained his position at the start as he slotted in right behind team-mate and eventual race winner David Malukas.
However, an off-track excursion in the early stages – which came with a significant tyre lock-up – demoted Linus to fifth place and took him out of podium contention. He remained fifth across the line.
After today’s result, Linus sits second to Malukas in the championship standings, 11 points separating the two team-mates.
More to follow in a post-weekend press release.
