Indianapolis – Race 1: Linus bags grand slam with flag-to-flag win and fastest lap

Linus produced a commanding drive in the opening race of the weekend at the IMS road course, scoring a flag-to-flag win from pole and setting the fastest lap on his way to victory.

Never headed in the 30-lap affair, Linus led an emphatic 1-2 for Global Racing Group with HMD Motorsports in front of David Malukas.

With his second win of the season, Linus also takes over the championship lead to fulfill a perfect day at the track.

Racing resumes at IMS on Saturday with a second qualifying and race double to complete the weekend.
