Linus finished just outside the podium in GRG/HMD’s spare car as the Indy Lights weekend came to an end – prematurely – in Race 2 on Saturday evening…
From fifth at the start, Linus battled past Andretti Autosport’s Danial Frost to take P4 on the first lap.
The race featured a halfway stoppage at the 35-lap mark for compulsory tyre changes in response to Friday’s Race 1 right-front issues, with all drivers heading back out for the second leg on fresh rubber to complete the final half.
However, the race was called off under premature caution for the second day in succession after Frost encountered trouble with ten laps to go.
Finishing behind the safety car, David Malukas won the race ahead of Kyle Kirkwood and Benjamin Pedersen, with Linus rolling across the line in fourth.
Linus leaves Gateway – his first-ever oval event – maintaining third in the standings, now 59 points off the lead.
More to follow in an imminent press release.
