Linus has wrapped up the perfect weekend in Detroit by winning the final race of the event to back up his Race 1 triumph, once again taking a Grand Chelem of fastest lap and lights-to-flag victory.
Again having to control the race through two safety car restarts, Linus was never challenged as he completed one of the most dominant performances of his career on Belle Isle’s farewell appearance on the INDYCAR schedule.
LINUS: “It is incredible. What a weekend. I can’t thank my team enough, and also my sponsor Jula. We have barely touched the car since rolling off the trailer and I’ve been able to drive with quite a bit of margin in both races. Massive weekend, good points, and I really could not have asked for more.”
Linus now leads the Indy Lights standings by 84 points.
