2020 Champion - Formula Regional Americas
Despite contesting his first season in American racing, and despite having never previously sat foot at any of the tracks on the calendar, Linus immediately shines in a highly memorable 2020 campaign – clinching his third championship title in five years.
Stepping across the pond to compete in the Formula Regional Americas Championship for Christian Pedersen’s Global Racing Group operation, Linus makes an instant and lasting impression in his most dominant season to date – overcoming the added logistical challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in the process.
With a whopping 15 wins from 17 races, Linus ties Kyle Kirkwood for the all-time series record of victories in a single season, and dominates the championship en route to an unchallenged title.
With an aggregate score of 401 points, Linus ends the season 118 points clear of runner-up David Malukas (USA), earning himself a coveted scholarship from Honda to move into the INDYCAR-supporting Indy Lights series in 2021.
