After this weekend’s impressive third place at World Wide Technology Raceway, Linus is ready to take on the last road course of the season at Portland International Raceway in Oregon.
Portland International Raceway is well known to Linus as he´s been here in both 2021 and 2022 with Indy Lights (now Indy NXT) with three podium finishes as a result on these occasions. However, it will be the first time for him in an IndyCar on the 3.1 km road course.
– It´s been a couple of great days after last weekend’s third place – says Linus. It was just fantastic to once again get a podium and to be able to do it the way we did and on an oval is very special. It also feels great because we have three more oval races left before we end the season. But first up is Portland this weekend. It may look straightforward on a map, but Portland is actually quite a particular track, so it will be interesting and fun to drive an IndyCar here.
The Grand Prix of Portland begins with opening practice on Friday. Qualifying takes place on Saturday, with the 110-lap race scheduled to start at 12:30 pm local time (U.S. Pacific) on Sunday.
