It´s time for round two of the NTT INDYCAR Championship. The scene of the raceweekend is Long Beach in California.
It’s a new track for Linus, but that’s not the only thing that will be new for this weekend. Linus will have a new livery on the #8 American Legion car. It is a one off livery for Long Beach, a collaboration between The American Legion, Chip Ganassi Racing and comedian Jerry Seinfeldt to highlight The American Legion initiative #BeTheOne and also promote Jerry Seinfelds new Netflix movie “Unfrosted” premiering on May 3rd.
– This weekend will be incredibly fun and exciting, says Linus. It’s a completely new track for me, I’ve driven it in the simulator, but of course it will be something completely different to do it live. I like street courses in general, so it will be very interesting to see where this track ends up on my top list. Also fun to have a new livery this weekend, a really great and important collaboration between The American Legion, Chip Ganassi Racing and Jerry Seinfeldt.
The raceweekend begins with Free Practice 1 on Friday and Free Practice 2 and Qualifying on Saturday. Sunday starts with Warm-up which is then followed by the race which goes over 85 laps on the streets of Long Beach.
